Press Release: The Lou Nuer Community Leadership in Melbourne Victoria will never betray December 15th Victims nor abandon SPLM-IO Leadership

The whole Leadership of Lou Nuer Community in Melbourne Victoria is hereafter assuring the Lou-Nuer people across the globe, Nuer Community, Sub-Nuer Communities and the whole leadership of SPLM-IO that Lou Nuer Community leadership in Melbourne Victoria will never abandon the victims of December 15th nor betray the struggle spearheaded by SPLM-IO Leadership.

There has been an organised disguise attempt to damage the reputation of our leadership through an award presentation to which we swiftly reject. We strongly condemned this reputational damaging conspiracy against our Chairman Mr Musa Abraham Gatluak and we urge all our community members to remains united and rejects these propagandas that have been circulated on social media.

Insofar and categorically, Lou Nuer people remains at the forefront of our current struggle and hence, Lou Nuer Community leadership in Melbourne Victoria have no any other political affiliations apart from its firm and unwavering support toward SPLM- IO.

Our strong support toward SPLM-IO Leadership is unquestionable. We will never betray the image of Lou Nuer people to achieve any personal interest, nor will we ever support or cooperate with any individual who have participated in the massacre of our beloved people, in Juba, Bor, Malakal and Bentiu.

Our firm conviction toward South Sudan Conflict is unchangeable. The collective interest of Lou Nuer people and that of Nuer people in general is the supreme foundation to which Lou Nuer Community leadership revolved around. Lastly, Lou Nuer Community Leadership in Melbourne Victoria shall continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with SPLM IO and victims of December 15th for justice, and accountability to be upheld.
