Oct. 4, 2016, South Sudanese President Salva Kirr attended a private ceremony on September 15, 2016 in Nairobi receiving PhD in Criminalogy Studies, source said. Salva Kiir was on the mission to tries to reclaims money that he has loses KSh 1.4 billion to Kenyan thieves, among them were four Kenyans including a Central Bank employee. The 16 of them who were South Sudanese have been sentenced to serve life in prison in Juba.
The High Court of South Sudan found them guilty on Tuesday, June 14, for looting the money during the civil war between 2013 and 2015 that saw Africa’s youngest nation plunge into war.
But the Kenya buy off Salva Kirr by offering him a PhD in Criminalogy so that he can be proven as a lawyer who can play international Laws.
