A disturbing new video shows the aftermath of a viral encounter between Chicago Police and a man who allegedly refused to give up a seat on an overbooked United Airlines flight from Chicago to Louisville Sunday.

As Gizmodo reported, the man can be seen clutching a curtain at the rear of the plane, muttering “I have to go home” and “just kill me” repeatedly as blood drips from his mouth.

The man was eventually taken to a local Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

According to Audra Bridges, another United passenger who posted a video of the incident on Facebook, the man had been dragged through the aircraft by security officials after allegedly refusing to give up his seat to a United employee on standby.

On Monday afternoon, the Chicago Department of Aviation announced one of the officers involved had been placed on leave, the Associated Press reported.
