Having lost Raga (Raja), Western Bahr el Ghazal, to the brave SPLA-IO Sector Seven (7) forces under the command of Cdr Lt General Thomas Basilo, the ruthless JCE regime in Juba has now ordered the reckless and indiscriminate use of chemical substances against civilians and SPLA-IO forces in the ongoing fighting in and around Motot, Waat Weipanyikang and Tonga.
In the Friday April 14, 2017 Raga fighting, the JCE regime in Juba lost as many as thirty four (34) Mathiang Anyor government soldiers and six others were captured alive. The JCE regime in Juba also lost to the brave SPLA-IO Lion Division forces under Cdr Major General Musa Hamed Dakuni a very good number of newly purchased arms including some 80 AK-47 and 4 RPG-7.

In the ongoing Waat and Motot fighting, the gallant SPLA-IO forces have so far destroyed eight (8) Land Cruisers mounted armouries, contained the Juba regime aggression and surrounded the Mathiang Anyor government forces in the area. The gallant SPLA-IO forces have also managed to protect and evacuate civilians to much safer locations, as the Juba regime continues to target them indiscriminately, burn villages, loot properties and inflict maximum sexual violence on women and young girls.

In the Friday April 14, 2017 Weipanyikang and Tonga fighting, the gallant SPLA-IO forces repulsed Juba regime aggression under the command of the most notorious and ruthless Major General Peter Toar Nyuel and Major General Manyoat, whom the JCE regime in Juba has been using to collide the Nuer with each and to further execute and advance the JCE policy of exterminating the non-Dinka South Sudanese in the area.

While the SPLA-IO strongly condemns the continuous use by the Juba regime of chemical weapons and substances against South Sudanese and indeed the innocent civilians in the ongoing fighting across South Sudan, the SPLA-IO also calls upon the African Union (AU), the United Nations (UN) and indeed the international community to declare the JCE regime in Juba a terrorist establishment and to hold its leadership responsible for the genocide in South Sudan.
