Just three months ago she graciously declined other business opportunities with Today Show after learning her 9 a.m. spot that she co-anchored for three year was being replaced with former Fox anchor Megan Kelley.
She also had other career commitments as she hosting her own daily MSNBC show, “MSNBC Live With Tamron Hall.” according to eurweb.com. Hall was made aware of the change close to the ending of her contract and that Kelly would be taking over one hour of the shows four hour time slots.
Although information on the site suggests that NBC had offered her an substantial offer to remain with the network, Hall decided to leave as she was not interested in being moved aside and taken out of a spot she had earned. Noah Oppenheim NBC News president quoted: “We made her an offer that I think reflected our strong desire that she be part of our family moving forward, that would have given her a very prominent and substantive role here at the network.

Tamron has wasted no time in ensuring she stays relevant and on top of her game. The agency will work with Hall on strategic opportunities involving TV and digital content, as well as speaking engagements and brand partnerships, among other areas. In addition, Tamron still works with and host two programs for Investigation Discovery along with Deadline: Crime and Tamron Hall Investigates. This coming Sunday on the cable network she will have a featured one hour special on Sexual Assault in College.
If that’s not enough to fill her calendar, she is also an active activist against domestic abuse, launching The Tamron Heart Renate Fund, partnering with Safe Horizon. The Fund honors her sister’s memory, who was killed by domestic violence! Talk about bouncing back and landing gracefully. Tamron is a pro at it and we are all rooting her on!
