Paul Malong left Juba after negotiations between him and Salva Kirr

KerryMay 10, 2017 The latest: Former SPLA Chief of General Staff, Pual Malong Awan has left Juba last night with thousands of SPLA forces. Mr Malong depart in protest to his home town of Aweil very shortly after reaching an agreement with president Salva Kiir Mayardit according to anonymous government official. The source revealed that Mr Malong was freed to leave Juba due to bellicose behaviours of his soldiers; they were tendering to cause a pandemonium disorder, particularly by rampaging shooting. However, the source could not confirm if Mr Malong has taken any government assets.
