Thank you President Trump: South Sudanese Community Worldwide (SSCWW),

Hai Amarat,

Juba, South Sudan

Press Release

South Sudanese Community Worldwide would like to appreciate H.E President Donald Trump and his administration for being promises keeper. President Trump is a man of action and this is being seen through the latest visit of US Ambassador to United Nations Amb Nikki Haley. During the annual general meeting in New York last early this month, President Trump promises to send US Ambassador to United Nations Ms. Nikki Haley and it happened.

By sending Amb Nikki, we expect positive steps shall be taking places. We expect this shall bring to an end the man made civil war and bring back Dr. Riek Machar who is forcefully in South Africa under house detention as per the civilians’ request. It is time now to know there is no government existing in Juba but well organized gangs of SPLM/A warlords destroying the young nation and should be held accountable. Prior to repeats of war in 8 of July 2016 when Vice President General Taban Deng Gai  and president Salva Kiir collaboratively agreed to put into water the 2015 August Peace Agreement which was supposed to end the 4 years old civil war in the world’s young nation, then Juba government lost all it credibility and legitimacy. It is now time to call a spade a spade. Kiir government is no longer legitimate to be entrusted with the people of South Sudan’s safety and governance.

We call upon the United States of America and the rest of the international Community to suspend any diplomatic relations with a government of South Sudan. We are asking the International Banking System to stop giving South Sudan government money to continue fighting war. We asked the International Economic Forum who have business schedule to buys South Sudan oil in the international market to cease to buys any oil from South Sudan.

We the South Sudanese Community Worldwide believed once all these activity is suspended, Juba warlords will not have money to fight the war and shall immediately accept the message of peace and any future agreements on conflict resolution on South Sudan will instantly work.

The conspiracy to blocked Ms Haley on her recent visit to meet the Internally Displaced People (IDPs) in Juba by the bribed UN Security guards by Kiir government and Taban Deng is unacceptable and we condemned this in the strongest term possible. There was no point to evacuate Amb Haley who was trying to meet the IPDs who were just welcoming her so they can tell her their stories. Juba paid the UN Security Company in charge of protection to blocked Haley to meet the refugees in Juba. This is very unfortunate. The South Sudanese Community Worldwide condemned this categorically and it’s shouldn’t be repeats in the near future.

We give thanks to Ethiopian government for giving refugees in her territory a chance to be heard by the top US official. We give thanks to Administration for Refugees and Returnee Affairs (ARRA) for fulfilling her mandate by continue to protect refugees and giving them chances to be heard by the international community.
