Deng Telar is under house arrested in Juba

April 5, 2018, it all begin with the passport of Deng Telar, son of the former South Sudanese ambassador to Russia, was seized by security officials at Juba Airport on Monday.

but now Deng is under house arrested in Juba. Deng, 30, was working as a National Security official at South Sudan’s embassy in Moscow.

Ambassador Telar Deng told Radio Tamazuj this afternoon that his son went to Juba after being recalled by National Security Service and that his passport was confiscated upon his arrival at Juba Airport.
